Founded in 1972 by Mr. Herman Hernandez, Bahamas Upholstery began its journey in northwest Miami. Thanks to our dedication to quality, we quickly built a strong reputation and expanded. By 1980, we moved to our current location, strategically positioned to serve our loyal customers in Dade and Broward County.
Since our inception, we have proudly collaborated with local businesses, dealers, body shops, and insurance companies, earning a reputation as a reliable provider that delivers on time, within budget, and to exact specifications.
In 1995, we expanded our services to the public, focusing on exceptional craftsmanship in all areas of upholstery. From auto and marine to aircraft, hotel lounges, and restaurant interiors, our expertise spans a wide range of projects. Bahamas Upholstery has a rich history of passion and dedication. Raul, the current owner, worked 13 years at the company before taking over with his brother William Lanzas. Raul's diverse background includes various roles, including as an upholstery shop manager. William purchased the Miami-Broward location from Herman Hernandez, who named it 'Bahamas' in 1973 after his Cuban home.
Raul's involvement sparked his passion, leading him to establish Bahamas Auto Interior Broward in 2020, which has been expanding ever since. With high standards and a commitment to innovation, the team offers services like custom car seats, headliners, starlights, carpeting, and more, always aiming to fulfill their clients' visions.
